Mornings with Teleflora

Flowers from Teleflora | Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf | Rings | Round Wooden Board |  Cup from La Colombe | Bamboo Bed Sheets | Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur | Words From a Wanderer by Alexandra ElleBowls by Lenox | White Plate

When I was 8 years old, all I wanted was to open a flower shop when I grow up. There was always something about the colors, fragrance and textures I find in their intricate beauty that always lift my spirits in full bloom. While I don't have a flower shop (yet),  I recently had an amazing opportunity to work on a fun styling collaboration with Teleflora featuring "Exquisite Beauty", my favorite floral design from the Teleflora summer flower collection.  The bouquet comes in a gorgeous mix of feminine blooms from roses, freesia, statice, heather and alstroemeria in sweet pinks and purples, juxtaposed with a modern burst of fresh green hydrangea, presented in a lavender cube vase lined with a tropical aspidistra leaf.

I could get used to waking up with Teleflora every morning.

Summer picnic cocktails with @akoreangirleats

I made my first VLOG with @akoreangirleats

Most of my happiest moments have never been so much about what I am doing, but who I am doing something with...  Like bathing in sunshine with Diane (@akoreangirleats) and making summer picnic cocktails!  For those of you who don't know, Diane is a very gifted culinary talent.  She was a finalist on MASTERCHEF KOREA and the amazing personality behind the YouTube Channel, A Korean Girl Eats.  I'm also really lucky to say that she's also one of my oldest and most special friends here in New York City.

When Diane invited me to my first picnic of the season, I couldn't think of a better excuse to make summer picnic cocktails!  I was really inspired by my experience at The Summer Garden Soiree with The Dreaming Tree Wines that I took a bottle of The Dreaming Tree's Pinot Noir and the new Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc to Central Park to create a new experience.

To be completely honest, we're no experts when it comes to cocktails.  But then I discovered a tea mixer made for cocktails by The Owl's Brew and it made everything so much simpler!  It tastes DELICIOUS and it makes creating picnic cocktails such a breeze: all you do is add two parts brew with on part booze.  My favourite brew was White and Vine which contains fresh brewed white tea, pomegranate, lemon peel and watermelon.   Just fill two parts tea in a glass,  throw in a splash of wine, some fresh fruit and you have a beautiful summer picnic cocktail!  You can find our summer picnic cocktail recipes and watch our picnic VLOG right here!  This was the first time that both Diane and I have shot and filmed with another blogger and regardless of how the video turned out, I had such a fun and amazing time creating this with Diane and I hope we will have the opportunity to do more!

Special thanks to The Dreaming Tree Wine and The Owl's Brew for making our summer picnic cocktails delicious!
