Smoothies are my favourite things to wake up to in the morning. Especially when berries are invovled. Blueberries are one of my favourite superfoods and it's on the list of the healthiest foods in the world. Berries in general are extremely rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants which are essential to optimizing health by helping to combat the free radicals that can damage cellular structures in our bodies. So for healthy skin and shiny hair, you have to take care of your body from the inside out. This mixed berry smoothie healthy and easy to make. You will only need 5 minutes. You can use any fruit you want, but here's what I did.

INGREDIENTS (please choose organic if possible)

  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries
  • Orange
  • 1/2-1 cup of water


Throw the berries together in a blender and blend with 1/2-1 cup of water depending on your preference of the smoothie texture and consistency. Ganish with some orange slices and voila! I like to mix it up between using fresh and frozen fruit. Frozen fruit are usually a lot easier to manage, but I find that fresh fruit always tend to taste so much better.
