Whenever the weather hits -12 degrees in New York City, the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is make myself a nice cup of tea and a steaming bowl of porridge. Today's breakfast is a coconut oatmeal bowl topped with blackberries, kiwi and hemp seeds. I cooked my oats in coconut milk and added a teaspoon of honey, flaxseeds and chia seeds. I sprinkled some (a lot) of coconut flakes on top of my oats before topping my bowl with some hemp seeds, fresh blackberries and kiwifruit. Simple, easy and divine.
