Dreams

"What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create."
-Buddha

Lately I've been waking up with my heart racing, excited for the day, wanting to do everything but never having quite enough time . Change is happening. Mind, body, routine, lifestyle, food, weather, future plans. I really like it. These past few months has been filled with a whirlwind of events. From graduating college for the second time and job hunting to finally landing new jobs, I went from having too much time to having almost zero time at all. Things are far from perfect, but for the first time in a long time, I truly feel so incredibly blessed to be where I am in life right now. I believe that the reason for living is to grow as much as possible, and your twenties are a time where you are allowed to be selfish. By selfish, what I mean is that you are allowed to do what is best for you - physically, mentally and emotionally without being hindered by guilt, expectations or the distraction of other people.

I am almost always daydreaming, but I think it's important to dream. It has become a common sense that thoughts have a great influence on people and behaviours; they can be negative or positive. The mind is more powerful than you can imagine, so love yourself with all your heart. When it comes to our dreams, there is a space between needing to make a decision and actually making it, and that space is almost always filled with fear. Vow to only make love-based decisions from this day forward and you will learn that it is never too late to design a life that you want. It's just as important to work hard as it is to work smart. Be who you want to be, not what other people want to see. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life that you have imagined.
