Beauty DIY | Chinese Gooseberry + Aloe Vera Face Packs

I always feel like my skin loves me back every time I choose to do a natural handmade face mask. I'm treating my skin to a hydrating kiwi/chinese gooseberry and aloe vera face pack infused with Chia and Sea Buckthorn seed beauty oils today in preparation for the colder months ahead.

Kiwi is a powerful little fruit. It has three times the amount of Vitamin C than oranges and it has the ability to nourish, moisturize and gently exfoliate your skin. Aloe vera hydrates and eliminates dark spots and blemishes on your face as well as healing acne and acne scars. We all know that chia seeds are good to eat, but chia seeds ALSO make an extremely nourishing oil that improves skin texture and helps soothe redness and protect the skin by enhancing the natural moisture barrier. Sea Buckthorn is packed with phytonutrients, beta-carotene and the complete vitamin E profile.

You can use this face mask every other day if you have oily acne-prone skin like me. For dry and sensitive skin, use it once a week because this kiwi face mask is a great exfoliant and you don't want to over exfoliate your skin!
