I first heard of Caudalie a few years ago during college. I while browsing through Sephora in search of natural skincare products and there were a few products by Caudalie that were recommended by the Sephora staff and I walked off with a bottle of beauty elixir.
Fast forward to 2017 and never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd ever end up in a Caudalie Spa in France. Tucked inside the beautiful Les Étangs de Corot hotel in Versailles just 15 minutes away from Paris, this Vinothérapie® spa by Caudalie offers vine and grape-based treatments that relax your body and delight your senses.
My massage appointment at the spa wasn't until noon, I started my day with a slow morning soaking in some sunshine in bed with a cup of coffee in hand, followed by a warm, luxurious bubble bath. I headed to the spa a little earlier to make use of some of the facilities: there is an open air jacuzzi, a steam room, a hamman and a relaxation room with tea and lemon water.
I was greeted by Louise for my spa appointment and treated to 50 minutes of pure relaxation. I could feel the stress and knots of my upper body melting away as Louise worked her magic. There is something really special about the power of touch paired with the power of pure botanical beauty: it can ease the senses, soothe tension and rebalance energy. Thank you Caudalie and Les Étangs de Corot for such a beautiful and romantic escape.
