Yesterday Derek and I made (a very long) trip to Brooklyn for a much needed brunch date and catch up session with the lovely Heidi Bischoff.
Heidi and I met a couple of years ago while we were both studying at FIT and were roomies until we parted ways last year after she decided that she needed a bigger work space to be a knitty biddy. I still can't believe it's already 2015 because this is the first time that Derek and I have visited Heidi's new apartment!
ABOUT HEIDI: She is an incredible knitwear designer and fiber artist. You may even remember the beautiful hand knit dress that I wore here. Since moving into her new space, I have been encouraging her to start her own knitting line and start a Heidi Bischoff empire but of course, Heidi never listens to me. So, I have taken it upon myself to give you a quick introduction to her beautiful knitting studio until she launches her own website (which I hope will be soon).
Below is a beautiful hand-woven tapestry from Venezuela in Heidi's collection. I'm completely obsessed with it. Handmade using 100% organic virgin cotton in Venezuala - you really can't get something more gorgeous than this.
