Guess what I found grocery shopping this week? Soy yogurt. Yes, soy yogurt. On my quest on cutting down on dairy, I've tried coconut many times yogurt before, but this was the first time I've actually noticed soy yogurt. I found the o'soy vanilla soy yogurt from Stonyfield Organic in the yogurt section of Wholefoods and I can't even explain how excited I was to try it! The vanilla flavour was a little too sweet for me (I should have bought the plain yogurt), but I really liked the texture and consistency. Growing up, my mom always made the best homemade soy milk for us in her kitchen so I really am fond of all things soy. But, with all the controversy around the topic of soy lately, I do want to mention that Stonyfield soy yogurts are USDA Organic approved without any GMOs, toxic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers used in 200,000 acres of the Stonyfield farmland. Organic farms make me happy.
- muesli or granola
- soy yogurt
- handful of fresh raspberries
In a glass, layer muesli or granola on the base, followed by soy yogurt topped with fresh raspberries. Serve and enjoy!
