As my first time visiting Savannah, Georgia, I couldn't have imagined a cuter little town. The weather was beautiful. As the temperature has cooled down on the east coast, it didn't feel like anything less than summer in Savannah. I really envy all the warmth and sunshine they are still enjoying. One thing that really took me by surprise was how eco-friendly the city is. I really really really loved the stores, cafes and restaurants with organic, fair-trade options over the conventional.

Life seems so much calmer every time I spend some time out of New York. The air smells fresher, the sky looks brighter and I think a little more clearly, even if it's only for a little while. It's so easy to feel overworked and exhausted by the never ending competition and endless things to do when you are living and working in the city. Sometimes you need to step outside, get some air, and remind yourself of who you are and who you want to be. Take it easy, one day at a time. Because in the end, we'll all get where we need to be.
